Refund policy
30 day return policy. You may return or exchange an item within 30 days of purchase. If you are beyond this 30 day range, please contact us to see if we are able to offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused
- In the same condition that you received it
- Must also be in the original packaging
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Opened or Damaged items
- Personal care items
Raw Food Exchanges:
We do not offer refunds for our raw food, but we do offer 30 day exchanges for our raw food items. We understand that sometimes it takes time to figure out the right food for your pet. To be eligible for exchange, the raw food must:
- Not have been thawed
- Must be in the original packaging
- Must have been purchased in the last 30 days
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift card for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will issue the refund to the original person who ordered the item.
Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Deer Valley Danes, 124 Deer Valley Lane, Greenville, DE 19807. You are responsible for shipping costs related to returning your item.
Shipping costs paid with the original order are non-refundable. Refunds will be for the value of the products only.
Frozen or refrigerated returned items (in addition to being packed in an insulated box) must be shipped back overnight at the buyer’s expense.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Orders Not Picked Up or Unable To Be Delivered
If you have placed an order for local pickup or delivery and are unable to pickup or make arrangements for delivery within 30 days of purchase, we reserve the right to place your products back into inventory. We will issue store credit for the amount of your order less a 15% restocking fee. Store credit is good for one year from the date of issuance and will be in the form of a digital gift certificate.
